The second run of books have been printed in the United States. You can buy them through the Tattered Cover. Ignore the precariously low stock levels they have listed. I assure you, they've got more books than I have friends.

I promised to inundate the United States with books, but the books done disappeared on me quicker than I knew what to do with them. Lawrence and Gibson have arranged for a special, new, U.S. print run, which ought to be arriving at Tattered Cover's doorsteps within a matter of weeks, if not days. Please keep an eye on their web site to see about ordering.

In the mean time, for those of you who weren't able to make it to my readings, the Tattered Cover one will be coming available on-line in the form of a pod-cast on Monday. Do give it a listen.

For those of you interested in such things, the Missoula Independent just printed a flattering review of Without a Soul to Move.

And the mention of my name here means that I can finally start adding that vague assertion of "Bestselling Author" to the covers of my books. This is what we've been waiting for.

Leaving Wellington in a few hours to spend a couple of days in Auckland, sleeping on the couches of friends of friends. I'll try to see the things I didn't see when I was last there almost a year ago, things I didn't know I should see.

Then, from Auckland, the long trek to L.A. followed by the almost equally long wait in LAX, and after the wait, home.

The launch party went off without a hitch here at Unity. I promise to post pictures soon, and video even. Had a good turnout and lots of nice things said about me and the book. Had lots to drink. Had a horrible wretched hangover the next day.

Next gig scheduled is a Without a Soul to Move reading at Fact & Fiction in Missoula on the 14th of August at 7:00 PM, and then at the Tattered Cover in Denver on the 22nd at 7:30.
